Liz Sumner and Lisa Sieverts will explain social business, provide examples of tools for businesses of all sizes, and present the benefits of moving to a networked enterprise.

Lisa Sieverts is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global leader in the development of standards for the practice of project management. After working at Hewlett-Packard Company in the 1990s, she founded Facilitated Change, a consultancy focused on improving project success rates in organizations.

Lisa also created the Smart Sponsors program for senior leaders and project success. She teaches at the graduate level and is an experienced meeting facilitator and workshop leader. She holds an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

Liz Sumner is a change management consultant with E2 Culture and Facilitated Change. She earned her Master's in Organizational Change from Antioch University in Seattle. She is formerly the executive director and community manager of Career Management Alliance, a division of Kennedy Information. Along with her work as a facilitator and planning specialist, she also teaches time management and is an ICF certified coach working with teams and individuals to make them more powerful and effective.

The local Project Management Institute (PMI) chapter, dedicated to advancing project management expertise in the tri-state region (Keene to Lebanon NH, Northwestern MA, Brattleboro to White River Junction VT ), is opening their bi-monthly program to the public.          
 

Social Business means using collaborative Web 2.0 technologies to connect the internal efforts of employees and to extend an organization's reach to customers, partners, and suppliers.  For project managers these tools can significantly enhance collaboration and teamwork.  Liz Sumner and Lisa Sieverts will explain social business, provide examples of tools for businesses of all sizes, and present the benefits of moving to a networked enterprise.

 
Our program includes a valuable presentation, networking with peers, prize giveaways, and a hot meal..... along with an opportunity to learn more about careers in Project Management and the value of joining our professional organization.  Also earn one PDU by attending our meeting.
