2010 November Program

On Tuesday, November 16th at 5:30 PM, the Keene chapter of the Project Management Institute will present Tracy Perkins, Senior Project Manager at SimplexGrinnell. Tracy’s program is a case study of project management for the implementation of a call center, including best practices and lessons learned.

The SRC Project (Service Resource Center) was a 7M$ project spanning an 18-month period. It included building two call centers whose purpose was the centralization of SimplexGrinnell's service dispatch function. The project contained multiple components including remodeling of existing facilities, managing two management teams and 100 agents, and implementing a call management software system.
