Use the Marketing Portal for Ordering, Customizing and Printing Materials

Your suggestions were the inspiration for the creation of the Marketing Portal that launched in May 2009.  The portal is your central access point to PMI marketing materials for communicating with project management practitioners and organizations. 

Find the Marketing Portal at www.pmi.org/marketingportal. The Marketing Portal is a useful resource to grow and retain membership in communities.
 
Here’s what you told us you needed:

1. Consistent messaging worldwide
2. Easy access to a library of marketing materials
3. Customized materials with local branding and local messaging
4. Templates for acquiring and retaining members and credential holders
5. Updated presentations with new information

All of these needs have been put into action and delivered to you in the Marketing Portal. Now you have access to professionally designed and branded PMI marketing materials that you can download, customize for your local markets and have ready when you need them.

Download and read through the User Guide to understand all the features and functions available.  This User Guide is also available on the Marketing Portal homepage for your reference.

These materials, and a wealth of others to follow, will help you spread the word about the opportunities that PMI and communities offers those who want to learn more about project management.

Pass the Word: Update PMI Contact Information

It is important for all PMI members to have current information in the PMI database. Taking just a few minutes to check and update profile information in the My PMI section of PMI.org will ensure the timely delivery of valuable information, services, and PMI Board of Directors election ballots.

Ballots will be distributed the week of 6 August 2009.

Download a Podcast from the 2009 EMEA Leadership Institute Meeting

During the 2009 EMEA Leadership Institute Meeting that was held on 15-17 May in Amsterdam, Netherlands, PMI President and CEO, Gregory Balestrero and the keynote speaker, Fredrik Haren, sat down for a conversation on creativity and innovation.

The PMI Leadership Institute is pleased to offer the first of a series of podcasts from the 2009 EMEA Leadership Institute Meeting. The podcasts are located on the Community Leadership Online Community  in Shared Documents>Leadership Institute Meetings.

Registration for the North America Leadership Institute Meeting, 8–10 October in Orlando, Florida, USA is now open. The Leadership Institute Meeting is an opportunity for professional development, skills improvement and networking.
